HTML pages that include Java applets can cause Discstarter to crash or the applet is not shown correctly

This is a bug in the Java VM. The bug only appears in version 6 of the Java Runtime. The bug has been fixed in Update 4 (Java 6 Update 4).

Please install Java 6 Update 4 (or higher) or install an older Java 5 version. In both cases, the applet will work correctly with Discstarter.

You can request a special DLL file that checks upon start-up of Discstarter, if the correct Java version is installed. Please contact us for details by e-mail support@mirabyte.com.
